In a time of turmoil and tension, we as believers respond with love in action. The Unite Nashville Prayer Walks began with a desire to unite our city under the common goal of praying for reconciliation in our city and nation. What a great reminder that the Church is not a building, but the people of God.
How To Get Involved
- Pray With Us. Join your faith with our faith and pray using 2 Chronicles 7:14 as your scriptural anchor. “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
- Walk With Us. Join us each Sunday from June 21st–August 2nd at 7 PM for a powerful time of prayer as we walk in silence and prayer, listening for God to speak to us.
- Post On Social Media. Use the hashtag #UniteNashville and post your videos, pictures, and captions on social media sharing what God has instructed you to do to bring about change in our city and world. If God speaks to you in specific ways, capture those moments as well and share with us. Please know that prayer is still our most valuable weapon in this fight against the enemy and if you have been instructed to pray more, please post that too!
Prayer Walk Details
Unite Nashville Prayer Walks are every Sunday from June 21st–August 2nd at 7 PM. We start at the yard in front of the Davidson County Courthouse (1 Public Sq., Nashville, TN 37201) and walk up Deadrick Street—to the state capitol—and back.
The walk is about a mile, so be prepared with comfortable shoes and water. Use the restroom before arriving.
